Soor Aur Saptak

Soor Aur Saptak (SAS), an Indian-American singing group, will be celebrating its 14th Annual Musical Benefit Concert on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts Auditorium in Beaverton, OR. This exciting event promises an evening filled with Bollywood music, singing, and dance performances, all aimed at raising funds for eye care for children in India. The concert is a major part of SAS’s ongoing mission to help restore vision for children who are blind, visually impaired, or financially disadvantaged in rural India.

Over the past 14 years, Soor Aur Saptak has raised over $500,000, which has helped provide critical eye care to more than 473,000 children as of June 2024. The funds have gone toward providing vision-restoring surgeries, corrective glasses, and other essential treatments. By addressing visual impairments, SAS is making a tangible difference in the lives of countless children, allowing them to see more clearly and improve their quality of life. This initiative not only aids in healthcare but also helps lift families out of poverty by providing children with the ability to learn, work, and participate fully in their communities.

The goal of SAS is to continue its efforts to make a positive impact by improving the world through service and compassion. Their 14th-anniversary concert is more than just an entertainment event—it’s a way for the community to come together to support a cause that can truly transform lives. By attending, guests will not only enjoy the performances but also contribute to an important mission that has already helped thousands of children and aims to help many more. The concert is a powerful reminder of how music and unity can be harnessed to create meaningful change
