As the Margazhi season of 2024-2025 recently concluded, it left a lasting impression on devotees and music enthusiasts alike. This year's celebration, which ran from December 16, 2024, to January 13, 2025, continued the rich tradition of spiritual devotion and cultural performances that have come to define this auspicious period in the Tamil calendar. Margazhi, also known as Margashirsha, is a month of profound spiritual significance in Hindu tradition. It is believed to be the most favored month of Lord Krishna, as stated in the Bhagavad Gita: "Among months, I am Margazhi". This divine association has made it a time for intensified spiritual practices, with devotees engaging in early morning prayers, chanting, and meditation to seek blessings and inner transformation.
